A photo for Schmap Madrid Fourth Edition

Madrid, the capital city of Spain. A country I now quite well, as I have been there several times and could
comfortably visit again and again. Last year, I decided to go away by myself and so, spent a couple of days in
the city of Madrid. What I enjoyed the most, was that I could take in sights at my leisurely pace, this may seem a tad
selfish, but it was the first time I was able to this....a far cry from the days of shuma.rani not knowing some of the
main sights in her own city.....

Anyway, you can enjoy reading about the Madrid and the Palace of Communications ( which in fact is the main post
office in the city, I wish my post office was in a similar building!!) at Schmap Madrid Fourth Edition

Schmap London Fourth Edition: Photo Inclusion

Imagine my delight when one of my photos was chosen to be included in the fourth edition of the Schmap guide to London. The photo is of London Central Mosque.

It was taken on one of those rare sunny days in London last year. I decided to go for a long walk in Regents Park and came across the mosque. I'm longing for the return of some brighter weather and a release from the drab and grey tones of the lingering winter....
