saying sorry

In this year alone, I have lost count of the number of times I've heard people say sorry. As a result, whenever I hear "sorry", the intention has become somewhat devalued to me. Can people not find alternative ways of conveying their regret?

so true! I was wondering the same thing earlier today...sorry has become an segue word for an excuse.

I don't know. i feel happy that there's an expression that can convey the regret one may genuinely feel. it looses it's meaning when there's no sincerity attached to it. perhaps it's not the word, but the person saying it, that you may feel the devalue from. Maybe it's not the person but the state of their being? who knows. :)

thank you so much for joining my blog! now i am off to checking out your blog.
